My name is Catherine Haese. I was born in Minnesota. I moved to Alaska in ’99. I attended Chugiak High School and graduated with honors in 2003.
I graduated from UAA with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and an academic concentration in Nutrition and Dietetics. I have held past nursing jobs in pediatric psychiatric centers and in adult corrections.
This is my 6th year with ASD, working previously at Scenic Park Elementary. I am excited to work in the Eagle River community, where I grew up.
My husband, Fred Haese, is a teacher at Begich Middle School and a former football coach at Chugiak High School.
Together we enjoy playing cribbage, cooking, hiking, and traveling to Hawaii. We have 2 young boys who keep us busy.
