It doesn't take much in the way of instructions; this is more of a description of possibilities. Teachers are beginning to use the Visits and Referrals option. This would seem to be a good place to document such things as calls home to parents or particularly critical conferences at school.
Select the Visits/Referrals tab found in the TeacherConnection module.
Select a class and then a student.
You will see any information that other teachers have entered (assuming they are sharing information). [Counselors can see them in Front Office by clicking on the Enrollment button and then Visits. Counselors can also add Visits here, it appears to us they CANNOT hide them from others. (There probably is a way, but we haven't found it.)]
You can enter new visits and referrals by following the prompts. Note that there is a large selection of possible Visit Types to choose from. Note also that there is a box to select whether to share the information with others or not.
