Salaries and benefits
- Current salary information can be found here.
- Employees and their families receive health and life insurance, including dental and vision plans.
- Certificated staff are eligible for retirement benefits through the State of Alaska Retirement System.
- Audiologists, school psychologists, OT, PT, SLP, BVI teachers’ salary will be 6% higher than listed on the salary schedule.
- Certificated staff receive a $2,000 salary supplement for select national certifications.
- $5,000 signing bonus for special education certified staff who elect to sign a two-year contract.
- A related services provider must have a valid Type C Special Services certificate. Teachers must possess a valid Alaska Teacher Certificate.
- Occupational therapists, physical therapists and audiologists must be licensed in the State of Alaska.
