"Japanese IO" is a Google Chrome Extension Add-On. It is available for free, but is blocked on the ASD Chromebooks.
This extension allows students to read Japanese words/kanji characters on any website. When students hover their mouse over a Japanese word or kanji character they are unfamiliar with, the reading for the word/character pops up. Then, with a click, the English meaning pops up.
This is very helpful for making websites with text of any level accessible to Japanese language students.
