Oxford Music Online, home of Grove Music Online, is the world’s premier online music encyclopedia, offering comprehensive coverage of music, musicians, music-making, and music scholarship. I am applying for a single license for myself as IB Music Teacher for scholarly sources for my current class. In addition I would use the subscription this summer to prepare for the new IB Music curriculum which begins next fall. I have spoken with Principal Ja Dorris and he has given permission as well as Department Head GG Pierle to use department money for this purchase. It is $195 for one year. It is an encyclopedia housed on the web, accessed by paid subscription, and no additional software or tech support is needed.
