An Information Technology Governance (ITG) project is underway to manage the implementation of this software. Andy Mergens is the project sponsor and Mike Parker is the project manager. Currently the project is in the process of evaluating cloud vs self hosted versions of this software before purchasing/contract negotiation activities can begin. The project team has received initial quotes for both versions.
This software is for use by the Student Nutrition department. The integrated software will replace multiple, disparate legacy systems to provide a single solution for all student nutrition operations including warehouse, food production, product delivery, district office, cafeteria services, and federal programs. This software will unite all of the Student Nutrition processes and applications within one system. It includes a mobile app and website for use by parents to see menus, check student account balances, make payments, and apply for free/reduced lunch.
