CHILDREN'S CLASSICS

Class Introduction:

Children's Classics is a semester-long English elective. This class covers the history of Children's literature. We will read classic literature like the original Peter Pan, The Wizard of Oz, and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Students will be required to write and illustrate their own children's picture book. We also look at the original fairy tales and the historical significance of nursery rhymes.
