INTEGRATED SCIENCE 9

Class Introduction:

Integrated Science (IS-9) is a two semester introductory course. Students will gain knowledge, which can be explored further in more specialized science courses offered at SAHS. Topic areas include Common Alaskan Plants and organisms, Introduction to Biology, Human Body Systems, Chemistry, Astronomy, Earth’s Changing Surface, Physics, and Ecosystems. A majority of class work will take place in room G-111, we will also venture to room H-112 when we have a need to conduct labs. Lab cleanup of individual and group work areas is the responsibility of everyone since we are borrowing Mrs. Rocheleau’s room for labs and she has a class immediately afterward.
