Welcome to Mr. Walker's page!
I have taught gifted and highly gifted science at Romig Middle School since 2006. I have an undergraduate degree in a biology from Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA, and a masters of arts in teaching (MAT) from UAA. I am National Board Certified and am the 2018 Alaska State Teacher of the Year as well as the 2013 Alaska Science Awardee for the Presidental Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching (PAEMST) as well as the 2019 awardee of the National Shell Science Award.
