SARAH COLLIANDER

Welcome to the 2018-19 School Year!

This is the start of my 11th year at Campbell. I am excited to be teaching 4th grade this year. This is going to be a great year!

A little bit about myself. I was born and raised in Wasilla, Alaska. Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to become a teacher. I am a very outgoing person who enjoys many different activities. During the winter months I
enjoy playing volleyball, enjoying snowmachining, and getting outdoors. In the summer I am constantly on the go. I love to go four wheeling, camping, fishing and love exploring. I am married and have two small children a
daughter Kynzie (8) and son Jarett (5).

Some things to expect this year in the classroom. We will continue to use GoMath this year for our math instruction. I encourage students to check out thinkcentral for help with homework and other tutorials on items they
may be struggling with. We will be using
Cengage and Amplify for our reading program and supplementing with Novel Studies. In social studies this year we will be learning about world history, map skills, history of the western hemisphere, Indigenous people of
Canada & U.S., and Explorations & Encounters. In science we will be focusing on Energy and interdepence.

I truly can't wait to meet my students and look forward to a great school year.

I have an open door policy, so please don't hesitate to swing by if you have questions, concerns or would love to help out. If you need to meet with me about your child, please try and email or call to set up an appointment
so I can make sure I am available.

Thank You,
Sarah Colliander
