This page will provide you with some basic resources for your class with Mrs. Tinker Kays. I am looking forward to a challenging and fun year with you.
About Me:
I'm excited for my thirteenth year of teaching; teaching continues to be the best career that I've ever had because it is fulfilling to see young people reach their potential.
Recently I became National Board Certified in teaching English Language Arts.
I also hold a Masters' in Teaching from UAA, a Postgraduate degree in English from Otago in New Zealand, and a B.A. in Anthropology and English from NAU in Flagstaff.
Some of my favorite things include books on tape, fanny packs, travel, and the outdoors.
I used to live and teach in Cambridge, Massachusetts, but I am delighted to be back in Alaska enjoying its unique people and environment.
