This week, class activities are geared towards getting more familiar with the placement of the world's 7 continents, major bodies of water, and the five imaginary lines. There will not be much homework. At the end of this week (Thursday and Friday), we are going to do a fun project called "Tear the Continents". The students will work in small groups, and their job will be to tear out the continents (no scissors or maps!) from butcher paper. and glue them in the right locations. How detailed can they get?!
