In class we read a selection titled "The Royal Kingdoms of Ghana, Mali, and Songhay"

Students are to write a comparison and contrast paragraph of travel now and travel then (the time period of our story) using the strategy of the Venn Diagram found on page 51 of their practice book.

Students should do this assignment as follows:

1) Read the directions and complete the Venn Diagram on Practice Book page 51

2) On a separate sheet of paper they should write their compare and contrast paragraph.
