¡Bienvenidos a la página de Profe Dahl!

Here at South Anchorage HS we are proud to offer 4 different World Languages: French, German, Spanish and Latin. I greatly enjoy learning languages and have studied Spanish, French, German and Portuguese. My degrees are in French and Spanish and I also have taken numerous graduate courses in Hispanic Literature while living in Texas. I started learning languages because I love to travel and meet people from other cultures. I have lived in Nantes and Angers, France and in Quito, Ecuador. I have traveled throughout much of Europe, as well as Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Puerto Rico, and Quebec. In the summer of 2003, I participated in a fantastic Fulbright Hayes seminar traveling through Costa Rica & Southern Mexico. In 2005 I studied in Angers, France for 5 weeks and then traveled to the southeast area of France, briefly visiting Provence and then Chamonix (in the Alps). This summer I stayed in Alaska and enjoyed kayaking, camping, fishing, gardening, and hiking with my dog, Dawson.

I look forward to spending a great year with both new and returning students this year and I encourage you to send me an e-mail if you have any questions or comments. I also love to chat with students and answer any questions during lunches or after school, so feel free to stop by!
