I was born in Anchorage Alaska and grew up in Portland Oregon. While growing up I was involved in many different sports with three that endured through High School, Football, Wrestling and Track & Field.

    After High School I earned a wrestling scholarship to attend Oregon State University where I found my love for teaching. In 2008 I completed my Bachelor degree in Exercise Sport Science from OSU then returned for my Master degree in Exercise Sport Science which I finished in 2009.

    I then began my teaching career in Albany Oregon where I taught Middle School Physical Education for the 2009 - 2010 school year before moving to Beaverton Oregon to teach Elementary Physical Education for the 2010 - 2011 school year.

    Following the end of school in 2011 I moved to Alaska to teach Elementary Physical Education in the Anchorage School District!
