The Allergy Foundation of America Alaska Chapter has sponsored
an allergy support group at the Providence Alaska Medical Center,
Center for Child Development.
This is an opportunity to meet others with various allergies such as foods, trees, dust mites, latex, pollens, etc.
The venue at Providence allows the children to play with and to meet children with allergies while the adults share their stories and discuss similar needs with other members. has free "Wizdom" kits for children with diabetes.
The kit is an interactive, educational and fun way to get all
the "Survival Guide" information needed by children
with diabetes and their families.
