School Attendance for Medical Purposes

FEVER

Students who have a temperature of 101 degrees orally or more, a contagious illness or are not well enough to learn, should not to attend school. Fever alone is not harmful, if a child has an infection, a fever is the body's natural defense against germs. If a student becomes sick, or is injured at school, parents will be notified. Parents are encouraged to contact the school nurse and review their child's special health concerns at 742-4963.

Parents or guardian are expected to call the office with the dates of their child's absence.
