CD Trays on the Macintosh

Apple has historically taken an approach to their computer design that emphasizes having as much done by software and as little done by hardware as possible. To open the CD tray on the eMacs, one presses the key with the triangle on it in the upper right corner of the keyboard. There is no button to push to open the tray and if you pry it open, it is likely to break.
