Virus Control Setting on the Dell

If believe that you have set up your e-mail options correctly and you are unable to send out progress reports from a Dell, the first thing to check is to see if your virus settings prohibit bulk e-mailing.

Open the Virus Scan Console (either right click on the icon in the lower right
or select Start menu / All programs / Network Associates / Virus Scan Console

Double click on Access Protection

Remove the check mark on Prevent Mass Mailing Worms from sending mail

Close the window. E-Mailing should now work.
