Adam Johnson - social studies

I was born in Anchorage, Alaska, and enjoy everything Alaskan, including hiking, biking, running, and traveling throughout our great state. I began teaching in 2004. I started as a student teacher here at Romig and have also taught in Vail, CO, and at Clark Middle School. What I enjoy most about Romig is the positive attitude of staff and students alike. I coach cross-country running and have coached cross-country skiing, wrestling, and track in previous years. I truly believe it is important for students to participate in school sports along with their other activities and outside sports. It is a great way to make new friends and build school spirit and community. I was the Alaska History Teacher of the Year for 2017.
