HG ALASKA STUDIES

Class Introduction:

Alaska Studies is a semester-long course designed to provide an in-depth exploration of the rich geographic and cultural background of the state and its people, from the early native peoples to the Russian era through statehood to the present. Alaska Studies is a hands-on course where the students and I will grow through an interaction with many of Alaskas cultures and features. In the process, the class focuses heavily on skills that will be needed as students work their way towards AP and IB classes later in high school.
