Course Description:
This class will be a basic economics class that will be used to heighten your awareness and understanding of economics. We will learn about the American economy as well as the World economy and some Alaskan economy too. Some other topics that will be covered are: Debit and Credit, Savings, Checking and investing, Microeconomics (Markets, Prices, and competition in the American business world) and Macroeconomics (Managing the nation’s economy and income tax)
