EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY I

Class Introduction:

In EMT, students learn to work as part of a professional pre-hospital medical team. This is a State of Alaska Department approved course in which qualifying students can test for American Heart Association BLS/CPR and EMT-1 certification. Students in this program are evaluated on the basis of written test scores, mastery of skills, and professionalism. 6 college credits at UAA and UAF are available to earn as well.
