Details on 9th Grade - Science Spreadsheet

Students who missed this lesson should plan on attending a makeup session. These sessions will be scheduled at lunch. Check with your classroom teacher or Mr. Tryon (room F106) for specific times. (they may also be listed here.)

Transfer students should examine this list of skills and if review is needed, plan on attending one of the makeup sessions. Data files for practice can be found in the Groups / Class_Folders / Tryon / 9-10th Science folder that is found in your shared files.

Specific skills:

• Create bar, line, pie, and scatter charts in Excel
• Understand the difference between line and scatter charts
• Include appropriate chart titles and axis labels
• Change axis scale and format
• Copy and paste charts, formatting appropriately, into a Word document
• Add legends and data values to pie charts
