Some teachers return to school on the weekend to complete grading and to post grades. Another option is to complete the work at home and to post the grades from your home computer.
What is needed:
Once you have your FTP program installed, post grades in the same manner that you do at school. You will want a postedgrades folder saved in your documents folder and follow the same outline listed on the Gradebook Index as at school
To install Easy Grade Pro at home, borrow a copy of the install CD from your tech coordinator.
To install CoreFTP on a Windows computer
To install Fetch on a Macintosh computer
I would bring my gradebook file home on my flashdrive, update my grades, make my web reports and post with the ftp program. At the same time, I would save the gradebook file at home, making a backup on a different computer than at school.
