Your Microsoft Word implementation has gone wacko?

Sometimes with Word 2004 on the Macintosh, things just don't seem to be working correctly. You can't save, it mentions errors with the 'Normal' file, etc.

You can try this (or talk to your friendly tech person who can try it.)

1. Delete Normal.dot and any temporary files in lastname_firstname/Documents/Microsoft User Data
2. Delete files with Microsoft in the name from the lastname_firstname/Library/Preferences folder. (plists and things, not the entire Microsoft folder - see step 3.)
3. Delete contents of lastname_firstname/Library/Preferences/Microsoft (except for office registration cache 11)
