PERIOD 5: 20TH CENTURY AMERICAN ERAS (FALL ONLY)

Class Introduction:

This course is a semester-long class focused solely on WWII. The class fulfills your one semester Social Studies elective requirement. If you do not enjoy WWII history, this class is not for you!

We begin with a look at the end of WWI and the rise of fascism and Communism in the 1920s. We will taken an intensive look at America's efforts to stay out of WWII during the late 1930s. Plus, we will conduct a mock trial of Harry Truman at the end of the semester.
