THIRD GRADE 2007-2008

Class Introduction:

Students will have reading homework daily (including Fridays) and other homework every day except on Fridays.

Students will have Math homework packets every week. They are expected to do one page of Math homework every day except Friday.

Students will have Spelling homework packets every week. They are expected to do one page of Spelling homework every day except Friday. Students will have a Spelling Test every Friday.

Students in our class are required to keep weekly assignment sheets called Learning Logs. Daily, we will record topics covered, including homework and class work. This Learning Log will be sent home each night for a parent�s initials. It is to be turned in at the beginning of the next week completely filled out and signed by a parent or guardian. We encourage you to discuss with your child about what is written on the Learning Log as it will help to inform you what we are studying.

Mondays you will receive a Make-Up Work Notice with missing assignments circled. This notice needs to be signed by a parent or guardian, and sent back with your child to school the next day.
