EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION, SEMESTER ONE

Class Introduction:

Welcome to Early Childhood Education. This interactive course is designed to teach students the theory of early childhood education from birth through the age of five years. Early Education is a comprehensive study which incorporates the theoritical frameworks of psychology, sociology, and child development. Students work directly with preschool age children in our nationally accredited lab preschool program three days a week. On Monday's and Friday's students work on their written assignments, work on class projects and participate in training activities. Our course is available for a second semester and on the job training opportunities if they maintain good attendance and a high grade point average during their first semester. Students must have all the necessary paperwork to work in a licensed early childhood program including: a current physical, notorized background check permission, & a written application and resume. Students will work to complete these requirements during the first weeks of each semester. We offer a unique and innovative program. Please call us for more information at 742-1285 or 742-8956.
