7TH GRADE LANGUAGE ARTS

Class Introduction:

English Language Arts is a study in the use of the English Language in literature, poetry, and academic writing. There is minimal homework assigned, but students are expected to finish at home any work they did not complete in class. In 7th grade, we will focus on organization in writing, the parts of a story, and analysis of character and theme in literature through the study of extended and short works of literature and poetry.
