Locking your computer (and passwords)

With both of these locks, someone might still shut off your computer and then start it back up. You should save any of your documents that you have open before locking.

Locking your computer - Dells

When you are leaving your computer, press

• Control - Alt - Delete
• Select Lock Computer (I often use Alt-K as a keyboard shortcut)

When you want to use the computer, press Control - Alt - Delete again and type in your password.
