To create a web page

Everyone deals with web pages, but way too many people think the creation of them is beyond their ability. It's not. Most schools provide a place for staff to post and there are also free sites on the web. Most personal internet accounts come with space to post files. Commercial sites that are set up to host sites specifically, provide many additional features.

There are a number of avenues to the creation of web pages:

• Export as a web page from Word and other simple programs. In Word, this is as simple as using the Save As command. Instructions for creation and posting of simple pages in the ASD Sitebuilder world.
• Use packages (Sitebuilder, mySpace, facebook)
• Use serious web creation programs (Dreamweaver, Frontpage, Kompozer (see bottom of page) )
