CLASSROOM MUSIC
Class Introduction:
Music is a critical element in every educational setting for its ability to stimulate a child’s thought processes, personal creativity and social skills. The connections that can be made through music are endless. Music promotes community, creativity, exploration, analysis, and problem solving. Classroom music at Kasuun provides an environment that encourages these connections. Students are encouraged and inspired to make connections between music and academics and between music and other disciplines. Classroom music at Kasuun is a place where children are given the freedom to express themselves in a ways not seen elsewhere. Music classes at Kasuun foster cooperation amongst peers as if they were in an ensemble, foster respect for themselves as they begin to explore their own ideas, and provide a warm environment that is creatively limitless.Class News
