Class Introduction:
The Kasuun Elementary Choir is open to Kasuun's 5th and 6th Grade students. This group will have a number of opportunities to perform for the Kasuun community, in addition to festival settings. This group will meet once a week, starting Thursday September 20th, from 3:30-4:30 in the music room. There is no audition or tryout necessary for this group. Parents, please be prepared to pick up your students promptly at 4:30, if they have not already been given permission to walk home. Attendance at rehearsals is very important and although I understand that occasionally students may be absent from school for illness or a family trip, after three absences in a semester, I will invite your child to re-join the group at the start of the next semester. This saves on having a student catch-up on rehearsals missed. I am very excited to get started and I thank you for all of your support! This should be a stellar group with a number of performance opportunities. Stay tuned for those dates! Here's to a wonderful year!Please contact Mrs. Johnston if you have any questions or concerns.
